CAPTURE the content.

The asset library the moment leaves behind.

CAPTURE is the content pillar of SayHey's Make · Capture · Amplify method — the production team that turns a brand moment into a multi-channel asset library inside one shoot window. Three productized services (Photography, Film, Direction) for luxury and lifestyle brands across the GCC.

When does a brief belong here?
  • There's a moment, a product, or a venue worth photographing properly — a launch, a drop, a new flagship, a campaign that the brand will run for the next six to twelve months.
  • The asset list spans more than one channel. Print and social and retail and PR. Single-format briefs are usually too small for senior production.
  • The brand intends to run the assets for at least six months. Capture pricing only earns its keep when the asset library has a long enough media life to amortize the day rate.
Three example briefs

Anonymized · The named version sits in the private credentials deck.

A European luxury jewelry maison commissioned a regional brand film and stills suite for a high-jewelry collection's GCC launch. Three shoot days, one talent, two locations.

A global eyewear group needed launch photography for a Dubai-led campaign that would also run in three other markets. Two shoot days, model talent, still-life, lifestyle, retail-window references, and a managed RAW handover.

A heritage hospitality group launching a new property briefed us on a mood-led brand film and editorial-stills package for the press kit and the launch year's owned-media calendar. Five shoot days, seven asset categories.

Inside capture

Photography the campaign and the long tail.

Campaign photography for launches, lookbooks for collections, editorial photography for press kits, retail-window photography for the in-store reference library, and the still-life suite that covers the long tail of product cards, e-commerce hero shots, and third-party retail asset feeds. We work with senior photographers — the people you'd hire individually for the brand if you knew them.

Branded photography continues to drive 3-5× higher product-detail-page conversion than stock or AI-generated alternatives.

Wyzowl Video Marketing Report 2024

Film brand films, launch films, social cutdowns.

Brand films for launches and anniversaries, mood-led “essence” films for hospitality and beauty, social-format cutdowns engineered from the same shoot day, and the documentary work that turns a moment into a story. The single most useful unlock in this service is the asset-density rule — for every shoot day, the team locks every channel-and-aspect-ratio variant into the call sheet before the day. Most clients we audit are leaving 60-70% of the day's potential on the table because the post-production list was scoped after the shoot.

We are all publishers now.

Ann Handley, Everybody Writes (Wiley, 2014)

Direction creative direction on the floor.

A senior creative director on the floor of the shoot — and earlier, in the pre-production rooms where the call sheets and shot lists are built. Direction is the service most clients underuse, because it's invisible: it's the calls about what's working and what to change before the talent is back in the trailer. A standalone Direction engagement is the right hire when the brand has its own production team but needs senior creative judgment on the day.

Combinations
  • CAPTURE + MAKEThe most common combination — the moment and its evidence. We bias new clients toward this combination because un-captured moments amortize poorly.
  • CAPTURE + AMPLIFYThe right combination for brands that already have an in-market activation calendar but want senior production around it and a paid-media program to extend it.
  • CAPTURE onlyA real product. The right hire when the brand has its activation in hand and needs senior content production around the moment.
What it does not include
  • Identity, wordmark, and brand-system design. Those live with identity studios, not capture studios.
  • Animation and motion-graphics-only briefs. When there's no live-action shoot, the right hire is a motion studio.
  • Stock-image-style production for ad-creative-at-scale. Performance shops with template-driven production are better.
Engagement shape

How long

Two to eight weeks from brief to delivery, with shoot days falling somewhere inside that. Hospitality and brand-film engagements run longer — eight to twelve weeks — because the location and talent permitting cycles are slower.

How priced

By engagement, with day-rate transparency around the shoot. Variables that move pricing: shoot-day count, talent type, location complexity, post-production scope, and rights-window length. Request the deck →

Capture once. Publish into ten channels. The shoot day that's scoped before it starts is the one that earns its rate.

For the names

A short note is enough.

We don't publish a client list. For the names — and the proof — we send a private credentials deck on request, after a short brief.
